Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences

Wittenborg is a private international university of applied sciences with more than 600 students from 80 nationalities working and studying together in one of the most intercultural study environments in Europe. It was established in 1987 and have thousands of graduates who developed the right management skills and competences to be highly employable and are now following careers in the Netherlands and around the world.

The broad Bachelor of Business programmes are 'double accredited' by the Dutch NVAO and by the German, Austrian and Swiss FIBAA - our entrepreneurship variant in Amsterdam leads to a double degree, BBA & BSc, with the University of Brighton. The MBA programmes are double accredited by NVAO and FIBAA. Our Bachelor in International Hospitality Management allows students to study in at least three countries and is accredited by NVAO and FIBAA and with a joint-taught final year, leads to a double degree with the University of Brighton.

We encourage local engagement of students, carrying out socially responsible projects with local government, companies and organisations; thinking globally, but acting locally. We are committed to a unique student-centred experience through our personal approach, family-like environment and customer-driven attitude towards Higher Education, focusing on the employability of graduates through our qualifications.

Bachelor Programmes are specially designed for students to obtain 80 study credits per year, therefore students can graduate in 3 years! Our Master of Science programmes are validated by the University of Brighton and jointly delivered by both institutes in Apeldoorn. We offer personal tutoring, guidance and support for students from start to finish, through our accredited bachelor's and master's programmes towards further academic study or positions in companies and organisations around the world. We initiate and carry out European and local projects within our research centre, involving students and teaching staff. We create opportunities for top students through scholarships, such as Orange Tulip, Holland Scholarship and our own Wittenborg Fund and many other scholarship programmes. Our institutional focus is on management programmes that encompass diversity, sustainability & internationalisation. Wittenborg is 100% English speaking and has internationalmlecturers and staff at all levels of the organisation.
