North Central College

Be Central

Founded in 1861, North Central is a private, 4-year liberal arts university awarding Bachelor's degrees in over 50 majors, including Biology, Business, Chemistry, and Computer Science. Our 3,050 students from over 30 states and 30 countries enjoy a safe, suburban community with easy access to Chicago. The campus is just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, Illinois and O'Hare International Airport and just a 2-minute walk from downtown Naperville, Illinois and the train station.

The 15:1 student-to-faculty ratio and small classes encourage interaction between students and professors, and students are encouraged to pursue research and internship opportunities. North Central is in the top 4% nationally in terms of students selected to present at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research (NCUR) and has been named a top producer of Fulbright students. Our staff provides airport pick-up and orientation for new international students and ongoing advising. On-campus housing is available; and over 60 student organizations offer opportunities for involvement. A recipient of the 2015 Paul Simon Award for Campus Internationalization, North Central is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and ranked #14 in the Midwest by U.S. News & World Report among Regional Universities.

Scholarships are available to qualified international undergraduate students.
